does anyone know of a company that makes the swedge tube mounting bar for a stock metric upper? We are currently running the prefab uppers from UB Machine and they are getting pricey to keep replacing. we want to put swedge tubes on but need to find a bracket that will allow us to. Anyone know of any. The mount for the upper is in the stock location.

your talking about the cross shaft, right? When I first started using adj. uppers I couldn't find cross shafts to fit the metric bolt holes. So I was buying Speedway's cross shaft and extending them to fit the metric chassis. Then I got wise and removed the cross shaft and with the help of a roll center program, I not only eliminated the cross shaft but relocated my front RC and found that my car would turn after all LOL!!!

So my advice, ditch the cross shafts and mount the heim joints to brackets on the chassis, use a RC program to properly locate them and in turn you'll "kill two birds with one stone"

Hope that helps.
