New attempt at a dryslick setup ends in an extreme push>

RF replaced afco extra heavy comp/ heavy rebound with Bilstein 3050
LF Bilstein 4040
RR went with 125# spring.
48 cross 0# lr bite.

RF shock travel 2.25"

Tire temps
LF 105 RF 110
LR 140 RR 165

Could the gas Bilstein be holding the rf up too much (or not enough)?
Not sure which way to go - heavier or lighter on the rf shock?

Other suggestions. Thanks!

Is the push going in or in the center?

As best as I can recall I think it was the worst in the center/middle of the turn?

Mostly rolled the car in then throttled / pitched / slowed greatly to get it to turn or break loose. Straight line braking when I could remember

Rear grabbed great just the front wasn't getting a hold.

Sounds like you need to stiffen the right rear to 150 or 175. That will tighten the car in and loosen it coming off.

When I was playing in a Limited I was running a 175 spring in the right rear...It was slightly tight in the center but it would throttle out. You might try the 175 in the right rear first I agree it should help. Don't go and change alot of things at once you'll get lost in what fixed it. You also along with the 175 spring you might try a little less air in the right front and alittle more in the right rear.

Opps....I forgot to add alittle more cross would help loosen it in also with those changes may help it off. But, like I said try one thing at a time.

We usually run a stiffer rr spring - just trying to find the cars limit.

I think the Bilsteins may need less spring than the Afco. The front seems to have stiffened up somewhat after the change. Side note: The stock mount shocks and hidden adjustable spacers are some of my least favorite rules for this class.

Just for grins I think the next time out I may try a lighter spring set on the front to loosen it up a little with these shocks. If that doesn't do it I will start over with the heavier rr spring. Thanks for the feedback!
