Hey guys, as most of you know I'm currently running the 4/2 setup on my mod. The RR is a 2 link style. I was wondering about putting the RR on a swingarm 2 link instead of the normal 2 link. What kind of difference would I notice with this change. I have never ran a swingarm. Would the swingarm be about like the spring being on the housing?? I currently have the RR spring clamped behind the housing. My car handles and runs pretty well, but as usual I'm always looking for a little more! LOL!

i ran the 4-z witha spring on the swingarm last season, it was ok but the spring rates need to be about 30% more due to the motion ratio of the swingarm.
if i were you i would 4 link it !!!!

The car is a 4-link car, I have a lockout bracket on the RR birdcage and its on the 2-link. So far I like the 4/2 deal. I am faster with it, than I was the 4-link, but I contribute that to lack of 4-link driving experience. I will be going back to the 4/4 for at least one race when I get the engine rebuilt. I figured I'd give it another shot. But I have a feeling I'll be back on the 4/2.
