My uncle found a '99 Fegers 4/z link in pretty good shape. I have not seen one or know much about them. Please post pics if you have them. Also are they a good car? What kind of stub are they built on? Thnaks in advance.

I've had 2 Fegers mods, and I think they are a great car. Well built, safe and strong, mid-grade chrome-moly chassis. They are normally a multi-mount car, and they work well on both Hoosiers and Amer. Racers. I run mine as both a 4/4 and a 4/Z. I think the older cars also could be a 3-link or swingarm. I wrecked my 01 car at Batesville, AR 2 years ago, and it held up very well for the hit it took.

Fegers builds Superstocks, Mods, and Late Models so there is alot of knowledge and tech behind their products. I run mainly Hoosier tires, and do pretty well, but the car works equally well on Hockey pucks. I'm not sure about the '99 chassis, but they have built both pullbar and liftbar cars. Fegers uses the big metric front clip, 78-86 Impala stub. Mine uses pinto front spindles, but I think the older cars used the big metric spindles.

What comes with the car, and what rear setup is on the car? If the price is right and the car is straight, it should be a great deal. I'll try to post a few pictures of my car. If you need anything else, let me know.

sdracer12..does he have a setup manual? Is the customer service good. Not many people run a Fegers around here(central iowa). Actually none that I know off. Who else has them that runs IMCA?

Racer17j, I don't think Neil Miller has a website, but you can email him at: photofinishes@aol.com

Fegers doesn't have a setup manual, but their customer service is excellent. Give Mike Fegers a call, give him the serial number off the right frame rail, and he can get you dialed in.

Their website is: www.loufegersracing.com

Another guy who does well in a Fegers is Bob Timm. He runs at Deer Creek, MN and the surrounding area. Deer Creek is USRA sanctioned on the Amer. Racers, and Bob is very fast. I know Mike Fegers has sold alot of cars the last two years, so he can give you more names of guys in his cars.

If you need anything else, or if you have setup questions, let me know.
