I like mine just fine it took a few nights to get adjusted to it. Very well built car I would buy another one if I needed to.I bought a new Hoffman in 03 won track champion in 04 with it.The 05 has more fine adjustment on the rear then the 03 had. Very fast cars.

we have a 04 hoffman and i love it but im in need of a little dry slick track help. i have to call jerry back today with some info but ill run it by you guys with the hoffman cars too.we run in central il on a 3/8 semi banked track. set up is as follows 800 both front springs,225 lr and 175 rr, car is 4/z set up. we have with 12 inches(give or take) of fuel 57-58 rear 52 left anywhere from 50-70 left rear and 50 cross and have been running the jbar about 9 inches up from bottom of that frame rail 2nd hole from bottom on the bracket. our bar angles are as follows. lr upper we start with about 26 then bring it up a hole to rougly 30 for the feature, lr lower is at a 2 degree angle angling uphill towards front, right side rear bar is even at zero angle and the front right side bar is upwards towards front about 4 degrees. shocks are 3030 across the rear and 3535 on fronts. this car won our points last year and 3rd at another track and won several features. we have been good when the track is tacky and we have been able to run with most of the fast cars at any given time and so far this year have qualified in the top 103 times and again ran excellent in the heats. when the feature comes we dont seem to get forward bite enough. we usually raise the lr upper bar(as noted before), put a round in the rf and take one out of the lf. the only noticeable difference from first few weeks of the season until lately is we used to really carry the left front wheel off the ground, now it doesnt. we have taken bars, shocks, springs etc off the car looking for something bound, bent or whatever but havent found a thing. the pullbar seems to be ok but we havent taken it off the car to check the preload but it seems ok in the car but were going to dismount it tonight. not that it matters about pulling the left front off the ground, its just something that is different. again the car is fast on tacky wet track then goes away so it just seems something is off someplace. we started the year with the basic set ups the former owner had and have made adjustments according to my style of driving but i think were just missing something. again as earlier in the post im calling jerry back with bar angles etc but wanted to see any of your ideas/suggestions. any thoughts or ideas appreciated. I talked to gerry and he said we should have a 1050 pull bar spring and were going to try a straight bar on left compared to the jbar when it dries out and give it a shot. everything else was pretty good
