I had a quick question about the spring rate on the torque link. I have a 1050 on it with a 90/10 shock and have been told to run less spring rate and have also been told to run more. I am still not coming off the corner as good as some cars and am wondering if this has anything to do with it.I have a 4 bar lr and z-link rr. thanks for the help.

We were getting way too much wrap with the 1050, went to a 1200 and it solved the problem. Bite seemed to last longer, plus we weren't tearing up u-joints.

What does the progressive rate spring do different than just a straight rate spring.

I wouldn't pin all of your exit problems on the pull bar. Throttle control, gearing, stagger, weight transfer, horsepower and several other things can also affect exit traction. Regardless of which pull bar spring rate you use, the travel indicator will tell you if its too stiff or too soft. The progressive spring offers a softer setting that gradually stiffens as more power is applied. Its most beneficial on a dry slick track. If your track is consistently tacky or hooked up, then you should avoid the softer sring and try a stiffer spring that will hook the car up as soon as you hit the gas.

what does angling your wrap up shock up toward the front of the car do as far as handling?

Tightens entry if you put more upward angle in the 90-10. Also moving the 90-10 further to the right side of the chassis will tighten entry.
