Headers on the right bank glowing. Left side not. Richend up car last night from 76 to 78. Also, reset valves last week. Dont think it is timing because that has not changed and the headers were not glowing last week.
Too Rich? Screwed up setting valves? Timing?
My initial thought was too rich because it is only on right side fuel dumping to right, but just wanted to get someones input.
Thanks for your help.....

I would check fuel level in the carb. and the fuel pressure as it sounds like you are dumping fuel. To be on the safe side I would also double check to make sure the timing has not changed. If it is retarded they will glow.

a blown header gasket can cause your header to glow. riching your fule mixture may have been the wrong thing to do cause there is fuel burning in the header already so you may have added to the problem
