I really don't like using the fuel load for rear weight percentages so I bought a wedge fuel cell. I can now move my fuel cell forward at least a foot if I choose to do so.
My plan is when scaling the car, move the fuel cell forward and watch the rear weight percentages and use ballast to regain the rear % that I lost as long as it doesn't put me too much over min. weight. Alcohol for fuel by the way. Am I thinking in the right direction?

I'm guessing your triing to minimize the change in rear percent as fuel burns off?

Yes WFO that's exactly what I am trying to accomplish, plus minimizing the pendulum effect of that running all that weight so far back creates. Sound right?

As long as you can do it without being overweight. I would sacrifice polar moment to keep from running overweight.
