I have always ran fords and from my experience, there are no good mechanical fuel pumps. I have broken every one of them that I've tried. Edlebrock, BG, Holley, these are some of the brands, they all broke right in the pin where they henge. Some might last 1 night, if I was lucky, most wouldn't make it tough a heat race. I bought a C&S belt driven going on 5th year and still no problems. Cheaper in long run. Just my opinion.

I had a edelbrock that said it handled alcohol......didnt make it through the 1st heat race. I bought a Rons Racing pump....this is second year.
