I have a 4/z, would like to install a torque spring and shock, I was told I need to clamp the LR. What is clamping, and how is it done.

clamping the left rear means that you put a mount on that will allow you to put your spring on a separate mount that clamps to the axle, so unbder acceleration the left rear loads and gets on the bars faster.
i tried this for the first time this year in practice last week and was un impressed. we had a dry track and i dont think it works any better than running on the birdcage behind.
