CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHICH HYDRAULIC THROWOUT BEARING TO RUN WITH A RAM COUPLER.I HAVE A 2 SPEED MUNCIE AND THE FRONT BEARING RETAINER SEEMS TO BE ENGAGING THE COUPLER BY 1/4 OF AN INCH. THERE ARE NO SPACERS IN THE THROWOUT BEARING IM TRYING TO USE (QUARTERMASTER)ANY INPUT APPRECIATED!

You mean RAM multi disk clutch.

Couplers don't use release bearings.

I must need some more schooling on this matter. I was under the impression that a throwout bearing was needed. could you give me more detail on this. and thanks for the post.

I believe my throw-out bearing is a Howe it looks just like the one at this link : http://www.howeracing.com/DriveTrain/Index-Throw-HydStock.htm
You need one designed for a stock clutch, the ones for racing multi disc clutches does not have enough travel.
