First off sorry for posting in the wrong forum just figured you guys may know about the tires I need. Wondering if you could help find a good soft tire to compete with D55's. The rules state I can run Any asphalt take off's 8" or 10" and IMCA approved Modified McCreary tire or D55 take off's. My problem is I can't get the 55's to clear the shocks and suspension in the front. This is a street stock car around 3000 pounds. Any help would be great. I am running the G60's now on a ten inch rim. thanks a lot

Are you talking about the Hoosier D55's? If you are then the the American Racers 56's are maybe a little bit softer I think but it is the same size tire. I think that they also make a G50 if I am not mistaken but I do know that they make a tire that is 2 inches wider than the G60s but it isnt IMCA approved. Another thing that the street stock guys around here are doing is getting the asphalt pulloffs and groving them. That is all I know about. I dont know if that helped or not but I tried. LOL
