i have 4 bar z link ls spring in rear on cage rs spring clamped in front to me it seems to be fighting against pull bar when it tries to pull back it drives rr spring up does this make since or am i off base here

are you saying that the right rear spring is in front of the rear end housing?

why the RR clamped in front? generally if you clamp a spring with a 4-z car you would clamp the LR. reason being is too load the spring upon initial acceleration. normally this is done on the LR 4 link to help the car get up on the bars quicker for increased bite when the track is dry slick. if you run the RR clamped ahead it is going to load the RR tire on acceleration and most likely the car will get loose with increased rr bite.i would either put it on the birdcage on front or put it on a swingarm.
