Yes if you run the top bar to the back that would be a z link swingarm. Im not sure there would be enough clearance to run a 4 link swingarm.

Well my bars are staggered enough to get it cleared...wonder if it would help...Ive just always liked the way my swing arms performed...what about with no top link...on a floater?

Maybe I am confused. What do you mean by floater? I though you meant birdcage, but know I think you must be talking about something different.

If you do mean birdcage then you no you cant run it without the top bar. There woudl be no stability to it since it was free to rotate around the axle. You have to run the top bar to keep everything in place.

dirtbuster is right, you cant just take the back bar off of and swingarm and race it like that because there is nothing there to hold it in place, the only solutions you have is to run a top bar or clamp the birdcage.

I think that was your question but i may have read it wrong.

It helps to think out loud sometimes regardless of how stupid it sounds...I was talking about a bc...just think it would help it if the coilover was on the lower bar...

thats kinda new to me...... never seen nor heard of a 4-bar swingarm. I like your thinking! I guess if it will clear then try it. Also be sure to let us know how it works.

we have tried it on the left rear
doesn't work too bad, just can't adjust the bottom bar as easily. Most 4 links the spring does nothing once the car is in the air
