i have spring pullbar with an 800 lb spring.
yesterday in testing i was only getting about 1-1/2" of travel.
i also noticed that the rr tires must have been spinning , you could see it on the tires tread. i am running about 20 degrees of angle. any ideas. i need more forword bite but still havce a push and need to get on the gas to loosen it up and make it turn. i also only had abvout 1-01/2" of rr shock travel , even with a bilstein 4010 on it and 170 rr on the housing of my 4-z dw8 car. heeeelp

Probably should fix the the push so don't have to bust the tires loose to turn. That's what is keeping the travel so low on torque link. If the tires are spinning they won't push the rearend against torque link. Then might try a progressive spring if just learning throttle control in a mod. Later get 2 torque links and set up one for heavy tracks and one for slick tracks. I know a lot of guys hate the progressive torque link spring, but when I was learning throttle control on different track types it helped me. Takes the setup of torque link out of the learning process.
