HAS ANY ONE BOUGHT A SCAT ROTATING ASSY BEFORE? WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY ASSY ONLINE? WHAT ABOUT A EAGLE ASSY?

Both are okay, but are also import castings. You will be happier in the long run buying a Callies or Cola. Our Cola in our 406 is 10 (yes, thats right, 10) years old. The guy who polished it a month ago thought it was almost new. Still in spec. Buy American.

I agree those parts are ok, but if you have some extra cash buy some name brand good parts, like cola, callies, byrant, and good rods like manley, callies, carrillo.
cost more the first time, but last a long time, plus the motor is worth alot more to sell it.

Look into Howard's stuff, Competition Products sell them. Nice american made castings and Rods and a complete assembly,, bearings, rings and all sells for about $1600 and change. Nice stuff.

Next engine we build will have the Howards stuff in it. I am impressed with their stuff. Howards cranks are machined by Callies. Good call, Krom.
