Has anyone had any luck running foam with Alky? Does the tank have to be drained after every race to keep it from breaking down? I've heard of putting drain tile in the tank but do not know anyone who has tried it.

I've heard some say it works fine and others say it breaks down to quick. I read something someone did that seems to me would work great, but haven't tried it. He took pieces of pvc pipe, large enough dia. to just fit inside the filler hole. Cut enough pieces to length to fill the inside of his tank, standing them on end. He drilled several 1/2" holes in the sides of the pipes to let the fuel in and out of the pipes. Main thing is to make sure you deburr all the edges.

I don't run anything in my tank. Should i be? I mean can you really tell a difference when you do?

heres what we do , it works great and lasts for ever, we get 4" perforated pvc drain hose, cut sections long enough to stand on end inside the cell and cut it with a razor knofe (so theres no added particles in the tank) then fill the cell as much as we can and the baffling is terriffic. try it and you will never go back to foam (which ***** by the way, because it breaks down in the tank and clogs the filter)
work smarter, not harder

Try plastic wiffle balls. You can buy them in bulk on the internet.

We bought a cell off I guys we know and they ran the pvc pipe in the cell and when we picked it up I thought it was full of fuel. IT WAS HEAVY!!!
Have you tried running nothing in the cell
.

I have run with nothing, but I think it is better to have something to control the sloshing. Modern drain tile is basically PVC or ABS plastic with holes in it. I think I will try either that or whiffle balls.
