Last year my b-mod weighed in at 2838 with 32 galons of fuel 150 lbs of lead and me 150 our minimum weight is 2600lbs

This year im going as light as i can i have
2838-160lbs for me=2678lbs-150 for lead weight=2528-256lbs for 32 gal of fuel=2272lb

So now i know my mod weighs in at 2272lbs!!

So add 2272lbs+50 lead=2322lbs+160lbs for me=2482lbs+176 for 22 gal of gas=2658

so of the 2658lbs im 58lbs over my minumum weight. I'll live with that my question is

50.5%= 1342.29lbs
58%=1541.64lbs
are these 2 figures right?

and using a multiplication of four on the bathroom scales how or what numbers would u want on your scales?

By thw way this car has to weigh 2600lbs minimum and its being raced on a 5/16ths mile track exclusivley!!

In your first set of numbers, 32 gallons of gas at 6#/gal is only 192# not 256. So your empty car weight should be 2336. Then in your second set of numbers 22 gal is only 132# so that means your new total with lead and fuel should be 2678.

Those % are right if you use your original total W/ your weight in the car. With the actual total they shoudl be 50.5%=1352.39 and 58%=1553.24.

Its hard to say what you will see on the scales without knowing what left% you are shooting for, along with LR bite, rear etc.

Different fuels will vary a little (talking tenths of a # per gallon) but roughly
gas 6#
alky 6.6#
water 8.3#

guys i dont know what my percentages are!!! but this car is one bad fast car wow!!

this b-mod stay nose to nose with a a-mod for 15 laps neither me or him got more then a half car length out from each other havent touched the since we pulled it off the track so im gonna weigh it and see what my numbers are and use that for baseline setup

thanks to every one who gave clues on what to do!!!

my setup goes like this for now 94 sardeson
73-77 chevelle with 24.2 gallons of 87 octane and 50 pound chunk of lead in front of fuel cell:

lf-75 shock
650 spring
3" inch offset
3" 1/8 ride height

rf-75 shock
750 spring
2" inch offset
3" 1/4 ride height

rr-93 or 94 shock
13" 175 spring
3" inch beadlock
3" 1/8 ride height

lr-93 or 94 shock
15" 175 spring
3" inch offest
3" ride height

rear is a 2 bar with a threaded pipe with two heims on top for my pull bar and a straight pipe threaded with two hiems for what would be a panhard bar!! the springs are located on top of rearend with a 15" slider on lr and a weight jack on rr

the a-mod was a four bar with a 400 small block destroked to a 352cubic inch with a 4 barrel running racin gas

all i know we had a blast running em wide open!!!!!
