i am trying the kse tandem pump for the first time this year and have it mounted on the drivers side front of the motor down low. just wondering if anyone else has ran theirs there and what other issues i may have doing this. i think it looks like the belt could walk off and i may need some kind of adjuster to straighten the pump flex if it does but its in a show this weekend so i have not fired it up yet. where do others run theirs and suggestions please. it looks good there and needed some creative fuel line routing but seems like it will work , i just spaced it and bolted it in the 2 lower block holes, without the other mounting plate that comes for the right head mounting. thoughts ???

i run my kse in the position that you have yours in using a layne machine mount. i also built a bracket that runs off of the back of the bracket to the lower hole of my motor mount. the weekest point is definitely the bolts and i have broken both bolts off before. i definitely prefer it in this position. It simplifed the ps hose routing tremendously. The only problem that i have is the fuel bypass hose runs into the motor mount on the frame. I have to run a special 90 degree fitting to make it work. The rest is simple. I was told that there is two different fuel pump brackets from layne. One for chevelle stub and one for metric. Maybe someone could answer that for me and how each is different
