Was thinking about long tube headers for my dw8 but sawn another post the drivers side may not fit with a floor mounted clutch with the cylinder down low? And what about power steering tanks? Thanks

I've got a DW-8 and just sold the set of 1186 Schoenfelds I purchased over the winter. The left side wraps around and hits the master cylinder on the floor mounted clutch. Also, I think it would be wise to move the power steering resevoir to the right side possibly. I just went with the Adjustable IMCA Schoenfeld set and they fit just fine.

Good luck.

After reading dluna's original post on this, I got to looking at my set-up. There really is'nt enuff room if your master cylinders are mounted outside of the cockpit. But the power steering reservoir can be mounted on the driver's side. Go to and take a look at my set-up. You'll see how close the header comes to the "firewall" down low.
