Was thinking about long tube headers for my dw8 but sawn another post the drivers side may not fit with a floor mounted clutch with the cylinder down low? And what about power steering tanks? Thanks

I've got a DW-8 and just sold the set of 1186 Schoenfelds I purchased over the winter. The left side wraps around and hits the master cylinder on the floor mounted clutch. Also, I think it would be wise to move the power steering resevoir to the right side possibly. I just went with the Adjustable IMCA Schoenfeld set and they fit just fine.

Good luck.

After reading dluna's original post on this, I got to looking at my set-up. There really is'nt enuff room if your master cylinders are mounted outside of the cockpit. But the power steering reservoir can be mounted on the driver's side. Go to www.picturetrail.com/tomcat88 and take a look at my set-up. You'll see how close the header comes to the "firewall" down low.
