I am switching to run more shows this year with the G-60 tires Vs. the UMP "soft" tires.

2001 DW-8 Unimount car, currently toying with LR clamped 4-bar, and RR std. 4-bar. 13-30 lbs LR bite. or when on the hook about 100lbs lr bite. I want to make the car as neutral as possible. 700's in the front and 225's in the rear...
any help?

Stick... I'd try and soften the front springs up a touch more, maybe just the right front. For the current setup your close as far as weights, the main thing will be panhard bar placement and bar angles. You'll probably want to get your set ready and just go test with them and get your bar angles right to get your foreward and side bite back. More then likely you'll end up about a hole or two higher on each bar then with the Hoosier's. You may try a little more left rear bite when clamped up (30-40 pounds). If you were on a 2 link i'd say start with about 35 pounds of right rear. The other thing is your rear and left side percents, which you need about 52-53 left and about 60 percent rear. You may not even need to adjust bar angles at all, just put the different setup numbers on it and give it a whirl, you'll love the sound of spinning tires lol.

thanks xtreme12x,

I rescaled it last night with the hooisers and got some stagger in the car and it raised all my RH's about 3/4 to 1" all the way around. Once we lowered them back down to where we were at last year it seems to go bak within a few pounds of the number on the G-60's...

locked and loaded for testing Saturday...going to start off with LR behind and 80 lbs of bite on the hoosiers and then change to LR clamped on the g-60's...ought to be interesting.
