can you use a 58" rearend. i know dirtworks says 60". but i have a complete 58". on a 60" dirtworks told me to put the 2 link mounts 20" from the center line of the pinion. would it be the same for a 58" housing. i tacked them at 20 inches and there is 4 3/4" from the rr rotor to the mount. and 6 3/4" from the lr rotor to the 2 link mount. well hope yall can help me. thanks vince

I would think center would be the same either way!! is this a center rear? straight up or an offset built into it??? Another thing to think of it's not center of the housing but the pinion. I know u will have to change wheel offsets to get the car right depending on the type of track u race on. If it's dry/slick might want to cheat to the left a bit. biggest thing is to put driveshaft in and see how it looks in the hoop. hope this helps.

The way i understood the 20" was from the center of the pinion so it should be the same from the rotors on both sides. Unless you have an offset rearend housing. It sounds like you have a 2" offset housing, what length are the axles? If they are roughly the same then it is offset
I would still put the brackets 20" from the center of the pinion so that they match up with brackets on the frame to keep your trailing arms aligned.
