WE just got one to try next year. I dont know much about it yet, but I know it only comes witha a 1050# spring in it. I assume that is the way it was designed to work, I dont know if I would put a softer or progressive spring in it for fear of the pinion going to far past center on deceleration and breaking u joints.

The sheet that came with it said it was set up from the factory for full floated rear setup. when clamping up the spring syou had to readjsut it before using it. just FYI.

afco said if i run the progressive spring to put 3/8 preload in it but to have a 1050 spring along with new ujoints ready because they think the same as dirtbuster so i think im going with the 1050 i might buy another one way bar for the progessive sping if i need it afco said the 2way bar was made for the 1050 spring only im mean thats the only one they suggest for it

you should run a chain stop or a short coil spring on a chain to limit deceleration unwraping you will break u joints if you dont and if you run clamped up you will need a adaptor to get the slack out on the rear bolt as indicatated in the directions with out the adaptor you will run out of threads. they have this piece available as I picked mine up at the P.R.I. show hope this helps.

Grumps what if I run a 9010 shock to control deceleration? I don't want to sound stupid but I didn't understand the adaptor deal to get the slack out of the rear bolt, could you explain? And one other thing have you run it yet if so did you notice a difference? Any info is greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by 3/8 preload? We are going to a pullbar this year and are starting to learn some things about it.
