Ok guys how about these Outlaw mod races.
You know the ones allowing aluminum heads, with 50lbs infront of the torque plate. So where is the best place to mount that 50lbs?

mount it right on the midplate, depends on track conditions on which side of the motor you would mount it on, I see a lot of Mod guys mounting it on the right side of the motor.
that is all I can tell you, We never had to worry about it before, But that is what I saw

If you don't want to affect your chassis, split it into (2) 25lb weights. Mount one on the left side, and one on the right. If you can get it close to your cam centerline, it won't affect your roll or weight distribution.

There was a guy here that was running a class that required the 50lb weight rule. He got caught changing the lead bar for an aluminum bar the same size. He bought two ingots the same size from somewhere and was changing them after tech and before Qualifying.
