Anybody have any expereince running the panard bar with the backet that puts it directly under the drive shaft?
Does it make a ton of side bite?Does it tip the car over?
I am thinking this may be an easy way to make my 17inch panard bar legal.

we saw one at a local auction and added the extra hole to our speedway mount.
as i understand it, it works great on dryslick but have not tried it yet
(the snow just keeps comin here in the north, wis.)

My buddy tried it, but his car wouldn't turn, at all, lol. I wonder if it is too low, and he was getting too much roll and sidebite.

The roll center would be awful low and you would probably have to counter it with stiffer springs which would cause other problems.

A better approach would be to move you frame backet to the left or weld a bracket on the back of the 3rd member and run the short bar behind the rearend.

When I still had my 4bar/Zlink GRT, I tried it and loved it. Gave me a ton of sidebite with G60's. This was on a short semibanked, dry slick 1/4mile.

Now, the guy I sold it to put hoosiers on it and said the thing really laid over bad and got real tight but it was still fast.
