alot of you guys have more experience in mods then me so i wanted yer thoughts on my setup.

My car is a 94 sardeson mod converted to 2 bar with a solid link 23 inches long with a dead straight j-bar just 13 inches long.

My rear has 250lb springs on top or rear with 16 inch trailing arms

My mod has to weigh 2600 minimum my car last yr weighed i at 2838 race ready it will be less now tho cause i have to put 10 gallons less fuel in it!! now we are down to 2758lbs

my rear %is 60 and i wanna say left my left side was at 51%

im wonderin how mcar would react if i took my 250lb psring out and used a 200 on rr would that get my rr to stick hardthis track is small euff most guys that r 3 wheelin are usaually the ones hooked up.......gimma some advice and thoughts guys thanks

the track is a slightly banked 5/16ths mile we can run 4 wide in the a-main

I ran a 93 sardeson car last year in ump with a cheap motor and whooped a lot of guys with new cars and huge motors. I made a plug for the left rear and shortened the trailing arm to 16" with a ton of angle in it. I notched the frame out on the left side to get about 2" more lift out of the left side, and I clamped the spring in front of the rear-end. I ran 200# LR and 125 RR on top. 51% left and around 55-56% rear. Thats a lot less rear% than most run, but it made that car turn so much better, and the short trailing arm more than made up for bite. I ran it on both tires last year, and I probably would have ran that car again this year if I hadn't rolled it at the end of the year. I think I still have some pics of it on my website if you want to look. www.geocities.com/modified41

pbr, I ran a mod there last year and got fourth in a mod points, I did not run that stiff of rear springs, I only ran 200 on the rear with a 4 bar and if you have them on top of the rear end then you need even less than that.

PBR, 175 springs straight across, lr afco 94
rr afco 93. Take a 25 lb chunk of lead off the left rear and put it on the right rear.
Left side down to 50.5% and rear down to 58%.

going to a softer rr spring will not make the rr stick hard, it will actually make it skate across the dirt more, that is why the car will get tighter on the gas witha softer rr spring. your taking drive out of the rr, so now the lr has more drive and will make the car tighter on the gas.
as far as your set up goes i would start out softer rear springs.
put yourself or the car on a diet, usually a driver is the easiest part to loose weight on.
cut the rear percent to like 58 to start out.
i would make the lr link short like 12 inches.
good luck
jason

OK zero, whatever. You have to remember pbr is a bmod and a limited motor. My car does not do what you explain and I just gave him the exact setup on my rear. He knows my car and me and knows how my car works. With the lighter shock it does allow it to roll over onto the right more. Besides you just said the same thing as I so I guess in a way we kinda agree.
