Is it ok for a panhard bar to have angle in it from frame to the rear or does it have to run parrallel to the rear end. Not angle up and down but front to rear. Hard to explane hope this makes cents..Panhar is 3 inches farther forwrd on rear than the frame. this is the long style bar behind the rear 4 link lr and 2link rr..

Mine does the same thing.....angle forward to the rear. I found that as the car gets on the bars it wants to pull the lr backwards fighting the lr 4 bar....somthing to check!

Are you running the correct mount on the chassis? I have seen this when the mount is supposed to be inline with the chassis tube and they were running the mount where the bar bolts behind the chassis bar. Check your MFG suggested bar mount.

what i am doing is swapping over a 3 link car to a 4 link lr and the panhard has to be at an angle to clear the spring on the bird cage be hind the axle

It is not a problem to have some angle in the panhard bar (in plan view), if the angle is small compared to the length of bar, the effects will be small. Overall, it will induce some roll steer.
