WHAT SUSPENSION ON LR WOULD BITE HARDER? 3LINK WITH THE SPRING ON THE ARM OR 4 BAR WITH SPRING BEHIND?

I assume by srping on the arm you mean a 3 link swing arm? The problem is that as the car rolls over you are actually losing spring pressure because the wheel/arm is dropping and the top of the car or spring is moving up. I would think youd have to run a lot fo LR bite to make up for this.

Are you running floating bird cages or are they welded to the rear on the 4-link.

with floated birdcages on a 4-bar with spring behind the spring will unload after initial throttle.
But to answer your question, its mainly driver preference. But the 4-bar suspension has more mechanical leverage than a 3-link. Therefore producing more bite. That doesn't neccesarily mean that it is the best for YOU. The best advice I can give you is to give it a try and see how you like it, but don't give up on it too quick. It can take a while to get familiar with the way you have to drive a 4-bar and the way your adjustments work.

we run a 3 link with the spring on the housing....3" to the front . i can make the car hit the fence depending on how much angle we run in the bar....lol..12* is a good start......
