has anyone ever mounted any other type body to an imca modified chassis. i have found one real cheap but the rules for our class say the body must be stock appearing and there are no imca tracks around here for me to run it in its current configuration. this is my first experience with the mod after having run stock bodied hobby cars. it meets all the rules for our hobby class other than the body. i havent had time to measure out the car as far as wheel base etc so i didnt know what might work or not.

here you go this is a performance bodies monte carlo on a metric chassis he used the stock roof and deck lid off a stock 93 regal http://www.actiontrackphotos.com/092604/09260415.jpg
the 71 car is a wissota super stock http://www.actiontrackphotos.com/092604/09260420.jpg those rules may fit you too. i'm sure glad i don't run in a hobby class that can have the motor set all the way back like a mod must be a pretty exspencive class
