Just wondering what you guys are doing to make your panard bar 19".How many are 17 or less?I think the pierce are about 17"?
My straight bar is 17" and J bar is 18".
If i put about 20inchs of rake in the J bar I can get 19" but dont think i want to do that.Thought about putting a mount under the drive shaft in the center of the rear-end.

Pierce is running the panhard bar from the left side of the pinion to the right side of the chassis, I didnt hear that right from his mouth, but from the dealer we go through.

Ours is 26" right now.We have to lengthen it a few inches to make it fit.

Pierce cars are both mounted on the left.
From behide the car the frame mount is on the left(drivers side) and the pinion mount is on the left of the rear end.

ours is about 15-1/2" right now eye to eye and we are going to run a longer clamp mount on the left of the dw8 to get to 19".
we are also going to try the center mount below the pinion on dry slick and utilize 2 mounts that stay on locatrion for the switch.
one will be clamped for the long clamp mount and will be about 3" higher than the other and the low one will be clamped for the bar under the pinion. ..that make sense??

Yes I know the Pierce cars panhard bar is mounted on the driver side of frame and on the driver side of the pinion, We have been running them for 2 years, I was just saying that you will not get a 19" panhard bar to fit,If you run IMCA Bob is running the panhard bar to the right of the chassis

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Thats intersting about the Pierce cars running a J bar to the right. There must be a reason he wants the bar on the left side of the pinion, otherwise he could just run a J bar from the right side of the pinion to the same mount that he has for the stright bar(outside of frame)How long is the stright bar on the pierce cars???I guess you would say on the OLD style cars.

there is not a set measurment we just string the left side. We use a 11" swedge tube. you think 1 1/2" - 2" on each side to the center of the heims. I dont know what his thinking is I havent talked to him personaly that is just what I heard from the dealer in Wisconsin we go through. I dont like it myself

I ran a 22 inch panhard bar on the rear of the rear end, and it acted much like a short bar pinion mounted. I ran the mount on the rear end inline with the pinion the same hieght as the pinion, three inches higher on the frame, running to the drivers side on hte frame. I only got to play with it for three races, it was lose in and tight when you got on the gas, and reacted very fast on the throttle. I am wondering if this is a way around the 19 inch rule.
