I know this is old tech for mods but rules here say leafs (camaro)or 3 link with stock lower mounts (metric), panhard behind rear,no shock over rear, all links can be solid (rod ends) or have stock type bushings only, no biscut rods or springs. 3rd link must be centered over rear. so which is better with a #2900 car 10" hoosier m45 tires and about 350 hp 4 barrel carb (GM 88958602 crate engine)

depends on the type of track . I ran a metric car with a similar setup as you describe against a field of camaros on a 3/8ths dirt and had alot of success with it.
the leafs are prob. a bit more forgiving as long as you keep them maintained.
however the three link ,if done right would be my choice.
