It's all about how much you want to spend and how picky you are about weight. In my opinion, the D&M rearend with moly tubes and drilled axles is the best piece on the market. Probably costs 400-500 more than the Winters (and comes with all the hub to rotor bolts!). I also have run the Winters rearend trouble free and like them just fine. The Winters rearend I would say is probably 20-25 pounds heavier?

the new harris rearends with moly tubes and gundrilled axles are fairly light.quite a bit more though,if i remember though, cost around $1300-1400.the winters rearend is a good reliable piece though, just a little bit heavy,i'd guess around 20lbs.
