Hey donslink1, we pay $240 Au dollars each for our tiers here (15 x 8 hard compound Americian Racers), That's about $160 -$180 US!
Surely it don't cost the importers here that much to import them to Australia.....Did I ever say I hate importers

$160.00 a piece I would hate importers too.
But not as much as IMCA!!!!
How much does your cars and stuff cost or do you builders there, what type of chassis do you run

Kangakountry I do business with a company In Australia, maybe we should start shipping tires to him instead of our product....sounds more profitable!!!

Hey Happy, maybe you should ship tyres this way... you could make a packet. Our tyres have AMCA moulded into the side wall though!
My car so far has cost $19 000 AU ( $15 000 US) for a brand new car, I've built it myself from a chassis U WELD kit, (all the bars come pre-bent, you weld it), it's a Redline Legend 4, the kits are made by a guy in Queensland.
Our class is a carbon copy of your modifides, with different rules regarding engines and rear suspension.

If you want a look here's a site with some pics and our rules etc. There's also a forum you can post on wich you don't have to register for, so drop in and say Hi.

Roo,

Do you get to any of the sprint car races when our World of Outlaw drivers go down and give your drivers a schooling?

Well Happy, I have to agree with you there, your boy's certainly know how to kick our butts, but I've heard the quality of our drivers running in January next year has improved a fair bit, but even the most patriotic Aussie's admit there will only be a hand full of Aussie's in the final.
I havn't seen them run yet, I live 3500km from Sydney, I wanted to go this time but can't, but hopefully next time...it would be awesome to see the outlaws!

P.S. I did hear that after the last show, the Parramatta Track record was still held by 372ci sprintcar.

I checked it out last night but couldn't open the technical page on the cars, how many good tracks are down there and is the AMCM the only class of Mods you have?

Hey Happy, yes AMCA Mods are the only Mods here, unless you count V8 Dirt Mods , but there more like a spritcar chassis running a 350ci engine with a carby, with a body, I think you have a class the same over there?
As for tracks I've only raced on a few up north , and all the best ones are down south so I couldn't really comment, but there ALL quarter miles, ranging from virgin clay to clay sand mixes.
I do belive our fastest is Warnamboo, 9's in sprint cars, and our most prestigous is Parramatta in Sydney, were the Outlaws run.
If you want more info drop a post on amca-nationals.com and someone who's racing down there would be more than happy to let you know about them.......I'd like to know what it's like to run on a 1/2 mile...now that would be fast and FUN!!!!!
