I was wondering if anyone who owns a wishbone car has tried to convert the left rear over to a z-link? we run big tracks with high banking and the roll steer is making the car really hard to get a good handle ? Thanks, dixiemod

D&M builds cars aimed mostly at dry-slick tracks. They can be real tight on tacky high speed tracks. Do you have the chasis that you can split the links('03 or later?) or do yours go to the same hole on the frame. If you have the split-link car you shouldn't have much trouble, just put the bottom link all the way down and even up the rear spring rates and it should turn great and be pretty calm. If you have the older chasis with the common mounting point for the links then you do have a really tight car that tends to be hard up on the the left bars. I suggest getting the split link mounts and installing them at least on the left side.

We swithed the wishbone to a very short lr 4 bar. I am building mounts this winter to put a rev z link on the lr to help take some rear steer out and not lose bite. Have you called D&M and talked to them?

Thanks, for the replies jws and dirtracer14. When we bought the car we were running tight radius 1/4 mile track, but one track quit running mods and I have to work on friday nights when the other tight 1/4 mile track runs so we had to go to big 3/8 high bank to race.(these car do fly on tight radius low banking tracks) jws our chassis has the common mounting point for the links, but kind of like dirtracer did we put the lr on short(11-12" top rod) 4 bar. I thought I read on here that lucky13 had converted his to a lr z link hopefully I'll hear from him. In the meantime I'll try to call Chub and see what he thinks. Thanks again, Dixiemod
