We use a piece of 1-1/2 aluminum bar stock that has slots cut in the ends. It fits over the edge of the aluminum and bends it over a bit. Work it all the way around the wheel well. Then finish it off with a hammer.

The tool is called a easy edger, harbor freight sells one now for 100 or 120 I think.

Its a common sheetmetal tool, you gradually tighten the rolls and it folds it almost all the way over then you flatten it in a brake.

Hope this helps, Im a union sheet metal worker.
