I was thinking about getting a new Hoffman Race Car. They seem pretty nice but i was looking for some thoughts from people that have raced them or raced against them.

I beg to differ ss#2, I've had some of my best runs on dry/slick with my '01 metric. The trick is to go way tight with it. I've just recently started to get it running strong on tacky. (been too tight) The car is fast, and predictable. Jerry is very helpfull.

we have run grt chassis for a number of yrs and we are getting a hoffman. we are buying a used one that won a track championship and 2nd at another track. he was very good on dryslick and good on tacky too. the guy we are buying from is up in the air to weather to get another hoffman or getting something else. he likes them alot and likes jerry alot but usually sticks with a brand for 3 or 4 yrs then tries something else. for us i am looking forward to getting the car and improving

Yeah z, we'll see next year. The guy that was donating the lower half backed out on us, so we're still working on something. (SSDD)

Only raced mine about 4 races and I like it. i havent got it where I want it yet, but it seems Jerry is very helpful. Like it was said above....I think its mostly driver. I went from driving a swing arm car to this 2 link and its completely different. The one thing I really like is Jerry has called me 3 or 4 times seeing how the weekend of racing went......that means alot as far as Im concerned....something I never got out of Jet even after 13 victories!!!
