I've decided we want to try a Z-Link RR this next year. Before i go cutting the car up i thought i would ask, what length rear (top) bar length do you guys run with a 19" swing arm, probaly be 20" cl to cl with a hiem on the end ?

Would you run a shorter bar than the front or the same? I'm new to Z-Links so i have no idea.

Gonna be running a 4-Bar LR with spring behind, and a 20" Swing arm CL to Cl of hiems (Z-linked) w/ a floated birdcage.

Probaly start with a 200 pound LR spring and 300 RR, 5/3 on the LR shock and 3/5 on the RR with a J-Bar. May try a shorty bar not sure.

Got any other pointers?

MOST Z LINKS ARE EQUAL LENGTH TOP & BOTTOM, HOWEVER, IF YOU WANT TO SPEED UP OR SLOW DOWN THE REACTION OF THE LINKS, YOU CHANGE THE BAR LENGTHS. WE RUN EQUAL TOP &BOTTOM AND TUNE THE REARSTEER A LITTLE WITH THE TOP BAR.(IT POINTS TO THE REAR).THE LOWER BAR WE USE FOR FOREWARD BITE.

Ok thanks Dirtywrench, i assume more bottom (FWD) bar angle the more FWD bite?
