i recently bought a dw8 swingarm took it out for same laps man what a ride,pullin lf so bad the rr was rubbin the decking.any advice on what to do to keep it driveable here is the setup lf650 rf750 lr300 rr225 jbar is even with pinon up 18% lr trailing arm is up 20% rr is up 5% car has 51.8 leftside, 52 cross,58.6 rear around 100pd lr. thought about lowering jbar and putting stiffer spring in rr would this work. thanks for replys.

stiffer rr will help, but what are your rear bar angles, down to back? that is the main deal, you seem like you have too much lr and not enoguh rr, so the rr is just laying over, and the lr is pushing hard.

zero 2link swing arm lr is up 20% rr is up 5% the arms are connected on clamp brackets about half below center of tube solid no birdcages thanks for reply

You could put a stiffer RR spring in it, then if its still bad try reducing your LR bar angle. Like maybe a 250 or 275 on the RR, try to get your rear spring split around 25 lbs. It seems to work better that way. JMO

just wondering if a 250&300 is to stiff what do swingarms like. first time to mess with this style suspension. thanks for reply.

Most swingarms I've seen run around 275 and 300. The swingarm car needs stiffer springs because of the suspension design. Go to the Tool Box calculators and there is a rate estimater there. It will tell you what the spring rate is, at the wheel, on a swingarm style.

Oh yeah, a friend of mine has a Wayne Larson 2 link swing arm and he runs a 275 LR and a 300 RR, backwards to me but he runs very well with it. Its all in how the driver feels.
