we just discovered that the swing arm on the left side of our new car is about 3/4" longer on the tube itself , then on our old car. youu can see that the old one has been cut and threaded deeper.
what could be the reason for doing this? because of the top link going backwards , couldn't the same adjustment be made if you wanted to move the lr forward or am i missing something here? we would ask the builder , but it has become apparent that he is a dishonest , lying , no good , pos.
thank you for your help

For the difference in lengths in the bars I can see it for only one of 2 reasons.

1. if both cars were from the same builder then it is obvious he changed the lengths between the two cars for unknown reasons.

2. If both cars are from 2 different builders then it is because most builders use different lengths, maybe close to each other but not the same.

custom, thanks for the help. because it is only 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, I would think that he was trying to get the bird cage to have more rearward incline, if so , I should be able to control that with a shorter top link ? maybe ? swingarm z link
thanks again
