What is a standard setting ( inches) for the shorty bar attached to the frame side? On a DW8 3 link how do you measure the setting. From the ground up to the center of the bolt or from the bottom of the frame to center of the bolt. ?????

If you mean the short 10" bar then
from the bottom of the frame 7" and about even with the pinion or roughly 3" rake

What about 6" on the frame side and bottom hole on pinion bracket? What would this do to the car? Is 6" uncommon?

That wouldnt be far off. Sounds like you are about 1" lower on both ends which will tighten overall through the corner because the car will roll and transfer more to the right side. 7" was just a starting point, each track or driver may need to be a little higher or lower.

O.k. Thanks a bunch. I had it in my head that 7" was about as low as I could go. I am going to try 6 1/2 " this weekend to help on dryslick. What about the biscuit pull bar?... how much angle? I am currently running it in the second hole from the bottom.

Still learning, we run our biscuit bar on the 3rd hole from the bottom. That seems to work best on ours anyway. Personally, I think the Dw 2 links work better with a spring pullbar, but we aren't allowed to run anything but a spec biscuit bar in our limited class.
