They don't go in the mud, rough, and they won't take a hit. But bob is a walking index of knowledge for dirt cars. As long as he is sober.

just got done looking at a new one and its a nice chassis. many people have talked about how thin the tubing is though, some have trouble, some dont. looks nice though, they are fast. new cars have another spring mount on front of rearend on right side to put spring on for wet heavy tracks, then switch back to the normal one for racing. looks nice.

i have not seen very many of them, just 2 or 3 that i knew were pierce cars. and they were less than i would desire, the cars looked bad(i think mainly just not taken care of well) and the cars were not very fast at all. but like i said i only have seen a few.

No car goes in the mud. Most 4 bar cars dont like a rough track and your rite they dont like a big hit but we have won 2 track championships in a row with one and getting ready to # 3 in the next 2 weeks and thats racing agains a couple dirtwoeks and and 2 or 3 skyrocket chassis so all in all i would say there pretty good cars IMO

Pierce is the car to be in if you are running UMP. They are the only chassis builder allowed to build and sell aftermarket lower control arms.
They have got an in with the UMP rules makers.

Sorry Brownstone, but that is not true about the lower control arms. Lightning chassis is selling them also. I believe you just have to have them approved to sell/use them!

I have an 03 underrail Pierce that I bought used over the winter and I like it alot, I have suffered some pretty hard hits and it has taken them well, very easy to drive.
Good cars and they are fast, not bad on rough tracks either!

A friend of mine has an older Pierce for sale, as he bought a newer one. I think he said he would sell it for 2500-3000 rolling. I"ve got a 2002 pierce and I like it, theres alot of them here in central Illinois. E-mail me if you want any info on my friends car.How many pierce cars have you had 4-bar?

Hey 4bar,not cool to talk about someone elses personal life.
We have a 2004 Bob Pierce and it's good in the mud and quick in the dry,and we have replaced about 4 front and rear bumpers and this is our first boughten car from anyone and we have been more then happy with any help Bob,Denny, or Brent R. have given us.
And lucky enough almost all of the suggestions have worked.
So maybe you or who ever has had the bad luck
with the car you are talking about, should call and talk to him again because anyone I have talked to has been happy.
Look at the web site lots of happy people and alot of winners.

Have a Nice Day.

I'm the Pierce distributer for MO. The cars are great. I've had my car upside down and its still is running good. aka no bends or breaks. Bob is the best guy in the world to get info from. I'm not gonna slam any other manufactures, but I don't think they give you all in info you need to be up front, maybe top 10 but not up front. Bob does, they do not hold any info back from the peaple that need it. Namely you and me!! My car goes great on a heavy track and as far as a rough track goes, shock changes and arm changes make a big difference in the handling. Its not perfect but much better. I do know were there are a couple cars for sale. Call me and we can talk. 573-480-5980 anytime www.bobpierceracecars.com Look at the numbers they speak for thereself. thanks

The word i got about Pierce cars is, the shocks. Evidently the ultra fast guys (Schwartz etc) run shocks that have been custom valved and brewed on by Bob Pierce, and it shows. Which is not unfair or anything its just the reason why D. Schwartz & other pierce drivers are winning everything in the midwest this year.

Take it all with a grain of salt thou, could just be rumors. Just something i heard from a good source.

All in all Pierce cars is at the top of the heap in terms of being a great chassis. Its a toss up to our team this winter to buy a Pierce car or a Cyclone, but 4bar - Zlink with spring on housing RR is the hot ticket and to me Pierce really started the trend. Didnt reinvent the wheel or anything just got it to work well first is all.

The shocks you talk about are special shocks made by AFCO for Pierce. If you want any just go to Pierces shop and buy them. I"m sure he will sell you some. Last year Carrera built them, and thats whats on my car. They are special valve shocks.

I do find it interesting that in the top 5 in UMP there is no Pierce car.Not meant to be a slam against them just an observation.

Hmm, UMP National points shows Chad Kinder, Denny Schwartz, Dan Hamstra and Danny Schwartz 2nd thru 5th respectivelty (Top 4 Pierce Drivers)in the UMP national point standings as of 9-6-04.

Denny Schwartz is the house welder or lead fab guy at Pierce far as i know, and thats there house car he drives i believe.

There leading the UMP Nationl Manufacturer's points as well, 2nd place is Impressive mods.

Thats interesting about the shocks, i didnt know who made them but i heard they were custom shocks. Gonna have to take a closer look at there cars next time i see one of them at the track.

Check Pierce's site, somebodies info is wrong, thats where i got my info.
http://www.bobpierceracecars.com/

Hmm, just looked at the UMP site. Guess you would have to follow it over the Pierce site. Nice mix of cars in the top ten thou.

Think i need to check out a Shaw car, UMP points leader and a Alltell win. Gotta be something to it.

WE HAVE 3 PIERCE CARS RUNNING AT OUR TRACK IN MOBERLY MO. AND 2 OF THEM ARE DRIVEN BY KELLY SMITH OF KIRKSVILLE, MO AND HE WON BOTH THE B-MOD AND A-MOD CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS YEAR, WE FINISHED 11TH IN POINTS WITH OUR PIERCE CAR AND MY DRIVER IS ONLY IN HIS SECOND YEAR IN A MOD. SO ALL-N-ALL I HAVE TO SAY THAT PIERCE MAKES AN OUTSTANDING CHASSIS. IF YOU LISTEN TO WHAT BOB TELLS YOU THEN YOU CAN TAKE THEM TO THE FRONT BUT IF YOU DONT YOU ONLY HURT YOURSELF.
