Does anyone from this board run that track, or has ran that track, and is anyone running the Fall Jamboree?

I am going just wanting some more information like entry fees, what type of track to expect, hotels in the area, etc...I am coming from Southern Illinois.

Thanks,

STICK

Stick, I run a MW-Mod/Limited Mod there, you can find more info on this link.

http://www.deercreekspeedway.com

It is a wide 3/8 mile high bank. Very smooth and unless it rains a lot, expect hard slick conditions, black, not too dusty. It is a very nice facility.

Go to there site, they have a couple of motels near by, we stay at the sleep-inn in Rochester, MN about 20 min from track near Rochester Airport. Sorry I dont have there number.

If I can answer any other questions let me know.

Forgot to mention, they also have a really nice campground right at the track.

The Deer Creek Speedway was awesome last year when we ran the Jamboree. They have widened it our some this year so should be even better. Track is a med. 3/8th with moderate banking. Conditions last year went quickly from tacky to dryslick, and then the track took alot of rubber, and got even faster and better! Several different racing grooves all night long.

I belive we ran a 5.67 gear there last year with a very good 360 roller motor.

Campground is very nice right at the track, and the party goes late! Also there are several hotels in Rochester, MN which is not far from Spring Valley. We stayed at the Hampton Inn, South side of Rochester, which has a 24hr. pool and hottub.

If you have any other questions, post here. Also, we are going too, who are you? Will have to look you up. Look for us, #12N red/yellow/chrome mod from South Dakota! Lynn

sdracer12;

Thanks for the information. It is my first time going as we usually run UMP, my brother lives in MN now just north of Minneapolis and I have tried to get up there to race all year and other things have always come up. So, we heard of this deal, talked to a local racer who had went last year, and would be going this year with the exception of the totaled thier car, and decided to go. We have a decent 406 and will try running a 5.43 gear. I am from Highland, IL and run a black/white/green #31 check out some pics at http:\\www.ksmotorsports31.com

I think you will enjoy it, the family that runs the track there are top notch folks, none finer in the industry. Very clean facility and a lot of space. We run 3 limited mods and one usra/usmts car there every Saturday, there are a lot closer tracks to race at, but no finer people to race for. Stop by if you get the chance 71B USMTS 71S-78 and 53 Limited/Midwest Mods.

Have fun, see ya there.

Rook,

Nope ours is done after breaking the transmission in the b-main on Friday night.

Very nice place to race, I can see why you drive two hours a weekend to get there.

Best of luck!! We'll probably see you up in MN earlier next year.
