This shows how much I know about engine work, but which way do you adjust the float screw to restrict the amount of fuel? (thinking it's down, but wanna be sure)

Loosen the nut (counterclockwise), and it'll raise the needle assy and the fuel level in the bowl. Tightening the nut will lower the assy into the bowl and lower the fuel level. The screw itself is only used to lock the assy down once the nut has the assembly in the right place.
