speedy46,dont know if i understand what you are asking, but if you are wanting to know where the bar mounts on the rearend if it is a 9" ford you can buy a pinion mount bracket that will work with the j-bar mount on the passenger side & the straight bar mounting holes on the driver side. The bar will run parrell with the axle to the left side where you can install a mount. I use a straddle mount with holes on an ark (?)so when it is raised or lowered at the frame side it will not pull or push the rear over to the side any. Hope this is what you are needing. cd2

Most cars I've seen have a 2X2 piece of tubing behind the driver compartment that you would bolt it to.

I have seen some at a angle and some right in line with the pumkin. Most tie it in were they can with the upper rail and the bottom rail so it is strong. I put mine in while we were at a track and had some time i just put the pinion bracket on set the car at ride hight and welded were i wanted.....i made mine so when the car is sitting the bar is going forward some so that when i was up on the bar it would be level and not bind on the hiems...hope this helps....i have a picture of mine i could email ya if you want...its not real pretty...kinda crud, but works awsome!!!
