I race a limited/B-mod. Many of you have helped me out with getting my car good, and it is. My brother is in an A-Mod and is having a heck of a time. And I cant get him to come on here, stubborn.

I dont have his setup or much other info. But maybe I could get some suggestions from you guys. He has a specialty/J-Car and runs z-4 on the hockey pucks. Had a biscuit in but now spring bar. The car is really good on a heavy track but awful on the hard slick. Loose condition in, no side bite and zero forward bite. He has a slider on the LR and converted the RR to Spring on Bird Cage, not clamped.

Thanks in advance.
Tell me what other info may be helpful and I will try to pry it out of him. Right now I am trying to get an idea of where his problems may be.

tell him you want to trade cars and show him how its done. LOL Or better yet go outrun him with your bmod. give him some good ole brotherly love.

If you can get the weight percentages and spring rates and barangles(hole positions) that would be good.

First thing I'd try would be to fix the loose in condition.

To do that:
-Stiffer LF spring
-Stiffer RR spring
-Get rid of some stagger, maybe run reverse stagger
-Increase your rear weight and mount it on the right rear.
-Suk the RR tire inboard, LR tire outboard with wheel offsets.
-Move the rearend over to the left.

We run exactly the same car & susp.

RF 800 5-2 shock w/ a rear soft bleed
LF 800 4 shock
RR 225 on the long swing arm 4 shock w/soft bleed
LR 275 4-bar spring behind 8-2 shock w/soft bleed

80lbs of LR bite
LR lower bar is 2nd hole from bottom top bar 2nd hole from top.

Whe it dries out we raise the lower bar 1 hole.

Works well for us.
