Has anyone used spring rubbers to increase pounds instead of changing springs? Do they work? How many do you use per spring and how many pounds does it increase when you use them. Thanks

I have used the black ones in the front springs...i put em in the rater with and without and got a 200 pnd increase with 3 diff springs. I used em to help find a good front spring without changing at the track! I also have seen they have diff rate ones.

i use them all the time. buy a few of them.
also they effect each spring differentlly, like it adds to a 13 inch 200 pound spring X amount but an 11 inch 200 pound it adds Y amount. but roughly 40-75 pound increase with most springs.
some spriings may require a certian larger or smaller(thicker or thinner) rubber to stay in it.
another note you can cut a spring rubber in half and get a partial effect, also if your looking for small effects a partial rubber moved around the spring(different sides) can also change the rate, because a spring rate is different on each part of it, the overall number is more of an average.(one side has more coil to it than the other).
but yeah i use them. work great. and quick.

We are having several problems with the car and we thought maybe trying some at the track before we bought springs, to see in an increase in springs would help. Thanks

we use one occasionally on the rears. we have a portion cut out so we can get it in and out better and its worth about 20 lbs on the scales. worth getting a couple for sure.
