I destoyed my spring loaded pullbar this weekend and will have to go with a solid link until I can afford a new one. I was wondering if I should run a shock with the solid bar or not, and what are the pros and cons of running the shock or not? I realize that the solid link will hook up faster, but it's really my only option. (Track is heavy 3/8) Thanks.

No you don't need a shock for solid pull bar when it is SOLID. It is not going to move except for up and down with the suspension. The pull bar shock is used with a spring or bisq. pull bar is used to absorb the shock when you let off the throttle on deceleration. It helps prevent wheel hop.
