On a 2 link, What exactly does the pull bar with the red biscuits do to the car. What would lengthening or shortening the bar do to the car? We've also been told we should have 1/4lb preload on the biscuit. How do you know how much you have on it and what are the effects of too much or too little?

Ok, we have to run the same pullbar in our limited mod class. The way I see it, the front biscuit dampens the rap of the rearend under throttle,( same as a spring would on a spring pullbar), & the rear biscuit dampens the forward movement of the rearend when you lift entering the corners, (same as a 90/10 shock would). As far as preload, we don't run preload in ours when the track is dry, which is most of the time. As far as the lenghth goes, I'm not real sure which would be better, although I have seen quite a few cars with the pullbar run up by the driveshaft loop. Someone with more knowledge than me will have to help you there. Hope I'm right on this. If not ,please somebody correct me.
