WE FOUGHT THE SAME PROBLEM WITH A SPEEDWAY CAR 2 SEASONS AGO, SOLD THE CAR AND UPON TEARDOWN, WE REALIZED THAT THE RUBBER BISQUIT IN THE PULLBAR WAS A HARD ONE FOR A TAR TRACK AND IT NEVER MOVED AT ALL.
THE CAR WAS GOOD (NOT GREAT ON TACK ) AND SUCKED MOST OF THE TIME. HIT THE LOUD PEDAL AND WE GOT LOOSENESS AND WHEELSPIN.
WE NOW USE A SPRING LOADED PULLBAR AND WE HAVE A 4-Z REAR SETUP AND FORWORD BITE IS GREAT. GOOD LUCK.

if its a swingarm there is a possiblilty that both rear springs are too soft. I dont think you have to be really stiff with them i know.

we are going to try a spring loaded pull bar this weekend. the rubber bisquit pull bar we have we are getting about 2.25 in.
of travel on the 90-10 shocks. and we are getting about 5.5 in. of travel on the rightrear shock.and about 3.75 in. on the left side. maybe we can get it right some day. we might just have to much moter of a mod.

so you are running 400lb springs on both sides? sounds a little stiff to me. what shocks are u using? i ran a z-link on both times on my mod. we ran 94 shock on right side, w/ 200 lbs. spring. 94 shock on left side, w/ 225 lbs. spring. ran a solid pull bar with no 90/10 shock. the thing had awsome forward bite. the front bar on left side was all the way to top hole, back was all the way down. the front bar on right side was in second hole from bottom, back was level. are you running eliminators? might check to see if binding up. we had eliminators, kept binding so over winter we put weight jack bolt in place of eliminators. car felt really soft when you bounced on car, but car worked really good and never had to worry about binding up. you might try some of this to see if it helps. if you have any more questions i will try to help. forgot to mention we used a progressive spring pull bar before we went to a solid bar.
