Has anybody with a DW9 and the 4/z option tried running the RR as a 4link. Everything else the same just flip the top bar around. Just playing with ideas in my head and wondering if anyone has tried it. If so how did you like it?

I just flip it over, bar length is the same, nothing else changes on the car.

I did it on a DW-8, same rear clip.
I ran z-link at the beginning of year, was alway tight through the middle, didn't matter what I did with the front spring or trailing arms.
Flipped over to 4 bar the car was much better throught the middle & more bite off. Much harder to drive on rough track & less forgiving if you make a mistake.
Car is still tight through middle at times but working with J-bar to improve overall cornering.
Hope that is what you are looking for?

the z link has more bite off the corner, but the car will be looser off. thats the difference, with the 4 bar you will be tight off and with the z link you will be loose off. thats why the z link has more bite its making the rr outpush the lr so the car feels loose.
